Dr. Savic graduated from The University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences. His interests in healthcare and sports medicine led him to continue his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Clinic Honours.

Dr. Savic is currently embarking on a two-year, full-time, post-graduate Sports Sciences Residency Program at CMCC in conjunction with the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Canada (RCCSS). Throughout his involvement in the program, he is participating in healthcare research, instructing, and various clinical and field placements throughout the GTA. Currently, he serves on the medical team for the Ontario Taekwondo Association (OTA) and is the team chiropractor for Clarkson’s U18-A Boys Soccer Team in Mississauga. He was also granted the 2016-17 Research Fellowship Award to help assist in his research on sport related concussion.

In addition to his formal chiropractic training, he has obtained certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University, strength and conditioning (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is a Registered Sports First Responder.

Experience with Sports Injury Management 

Dr. Savic has worked alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, and massage therapists for nearly 4 years as a personal trainer customizing rehabilitation programs for a wide array of musculoskeletal injuries, and postural and mobility dysfunctions even prior to graduating as a chiropractor.
Since becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Savic has worked with novice, national and professional athletes among a large of array of sports including: soccer, football, hockey, tennis, bobsled, and track and field.

Dr. Savic has played rep and provincial level soccer throughout most of his life, and was a registered OSA certified soccer referee for nearly 6 years. He has an invested interest and passion in working with athletes within the sport, and will continue to provide emergency care, treatment, strength and conditioning and injury prevention programs both on and off the field.
